    Any old Megadeth will do too. Verse riff of Holy Wars is the pinnacle of thirds-based riffs, imo.

    Green Day, Blink 182, The Ramones, Cream, Judas Priest, Alice in Chains, Creed, Guns n Roses... In fact, you'd be hard-pressed to find a band in rock or metal that doesn't use dyads.

    (Since he still only has 1 post, my initial belief that he wasn't serious and that it was a throwaway post seems to have been true)
