Stephen Carpenter - Earth is Flat (and some other retardation talk)

This is not really Music related but I just had to share it because one cannot really understand on how some supposedly somewhat more educated and experienced people due to their traveling and getting along with thousand of others can even think like this...

"If you think you live on a spinning, flying space ball, you’re in a cult.”

"When you first learn about flat Earth, at least when I did that, I learned about all that no dinosaur shit, no nuke stuff and everything. I mean literally you just start going down the path. Oh my god, there’s so much fake shit. And it just keeps happening you know? [Once] I realized that there was no such place as space and we’re in this, you know, created environment, if you will. It changed everything. I immediately lost all the space fear. Like I have no fears of us ever being struck by some rogue asteroid, meteor, comet, rogue planet, no solar flares, none of this space fucking devil’s gonna get ya.”

I wont even quote his rambling about Vaccines since people like that don't even deserve wasted time on them.

Super happy that I never liked the band he is in

What a moron. I'm not afraid of being struck by "some rogue asteroid, meteor, comet, rogue planet, no solar flares, none of this space fucking devil’s gonna get ya", either, despite knowing that the earth is spherical and that space exists. Why would I be afraid of something that's very, extremely unlikely that I have no control over? I mean it would be a lot more rational to be afraid of being killed in about 1000000 more likely ways, like a random car accident, pretty much every disease in the world, hippo attack, etc that nobody is afraid of on a daily basis.

I wish it was possible to send these anti-vaxers back in time to catch polio or small pox and see how nice that is too.

Classic, "I'm not in a cult, you're in the cult" mentality.

Also, I suppose it's not too far fetched for a guy to believe in something so stupid who, from what I've read so far, has smoked more weed than Willy Nelson
