They may want to talk to Silenoz about the reason he was kicked out of Dimmu first.

Big Tarot fan. "Leaves Nightwish" is a bit of an understatement. He is a huge part of Nightwish. People talking shit on his vocals are crazy. I think he was also involved on the arrangement end, which is obviously the role pulling all the weight in the band, though not the primary arranger.

Every pleasant surprising "that sounds a lot like Tarot" riff is his shit. You can tell what songs he has writing credits on for sure. Not a Nightwish fan, but all the worthwhile stuff is him.

Worst idea ever. Borknagar is one of the only bands putting out music I still care about. He would make more money in Nightwish, but his talents would be wasted on cheesy symphonic bullshit.

Giving up one of the only good contemporary bands going for more theater kid bullshit is going to be a big no from me dawg.

I honestly stopped giving a shit about Nightwish after they kicked out Tarja. With that being said, its awful he decided to quit music. The guy's voice is utterly unique and amazing.

care to refresh my memory on the subject. I only remember tidbits for years ago that him and Mustis would show up to festival gigs without instruments and shit like that.

This kind of thing and worse. I knew a guy who was in Studio Freeman shortly after they recorded In Sorte Diaboli there, and the two now departed members would go on regular rampages and trash the studio accomodation.

Thats a shame. After Vortex left, I stopped giving 2 shits about Dimmu Borgir.

...But that maybe also be because my tastes were changing/growing as Entrhone Darkness Triumphant is my fav Dimmu album and that didnt even have Vortex on it.

Well, it's over 10 years ago so they might have mellowed down a bit.
