    Mg.org charity album?

    Hey, guys!

I was thinking today that we have a lot of talented motherfuckers here, and it would be cool to maybe do some kind of charity album... and for sake of publishing rights and such, maybe a Christmas album?

Too late for this year, obviously, but with a year of lead time, i bet we could come up with a killer collection of songs, maybe send it to one person for final mastering (maybe Nolly?) and then sell it for PWYC on Garageband, with all proceeds going toward some kind of children's charity, like the Make A Wish Foundation.

People can choose to either do a classic tune, or write and record an original. Since we have a lot of international people here, and people of various descent, it would be cool if people did traditional songs from their native countries as well, just so it's not the standard fare.

What do you guys think? If we have a completion deadline of November 25, 2012, it could go on sale with plenty of time for Christmas next year.

I call dibs on Silent Night.

Sounds fun! I have no recording gear, so I'd have to trip out to someone's place who does
