I've been listening to Grand Magus' "Iron Will" album
Too much focus leads to tunnel vision
Too much faith leads to religion
Too much knowledge leads to confusion
Too many guitar lessons lead to jazz-fusion

I've been digging the shit out of Ryoji Ikeda. He does glitch music and unfortunately, reviews of his works are either : "This is amazing music and everyone should listen to it at one time in their life" or "what the fuck? Is this some kind of joke, it's not even music just clicks and shit! There's no beat or anything, fuck this ...noise"

This may sound weird, but during the first half of that song with the clicks I swear something about the way it sounded made it sound and feel like it was my own throat doing the clicking and I couldn't stop it, as if I had swallowed some never-completely-dissolving pop rock wrong.

The dude has also done videos to accompany the songs, and it's all black and white shit like static and visual noise if that makes any sense

    Kozo Suganuma - Convergence

This is my band's drummer's teacher (and he lent me the album). He's pretty good and there are a ton of big names on the record such as Billy Sheehan, Masaaki, and Akira Takasaki.

I'm all for weird trippy experimental music, but that song wasn't really my thing. That effect it had on me though was....interesting, to say the least.
