Nothing too heavy at the moment, got a little burned out on it... Trying out some progressive stuff and really dig Sithu Aye. The guy's inside chord work is god-like, super melodic lead style, and awesome recorded tone. Hi albums are on youtube, but this is an EP he did with Plini.
Still listening to this almost every day two months later...
Really love the lead that starts at about 4:09... then the slide into Dream Theater like stuff before descending into Opeth-esque riffage after the next verse.

For anyone that likes Metallica's blues jam phase from Load-era, this is a fucking treat. This is three weeks ago in Germany.
Papa Het busts out all the right moves jamming, Kirk doesn't fuck up the solo, and Lars even sells it well.
I do miss Jason. :-(
This burrowed into my head today. Had never heard of them before this track but I did it. It's not metal but really quirky but a great 80s vibe to their music.
They may not be metal but they actually do a real good version of Battery!
