Awesome video, Ola. I'm not an independent musician (because I've never done music for a living), but I am an independent contractor! Heh heh heh. For me, I think music will always be something I do on the side, but I imagine most people have imagined what it would be like to do it full-time.

And I do think that a lot of it had to do with the guitar, pickups, style of playing, and the specific way Ola EQed the amps, as well as the very kinds of amps he picked that made them sound so similar. Obviously if you used wildly different amps, wildly different guitars, and wildly different pickups, they would sound a lot more different, but a lot of people underestimate the power of a guitarist's individual playing style.
I think your EQ skills are particularly impressive because you always have very very good EQ for both clean and high-gain tones, no matter what.
