    I can go back and forth on this point, for sure. I never had a wireless that truly sounded right, but then again I loved the freedom it provided us on stage when both guitarists and our bassist were wireless. It definitely feels better on stage to be wireless.

    I used to think so, and then I did 4 years of actual gigging with regular cables (not the few local shows I had done prior). So long as the cables are good, I'm good. I don't need to go farther than 10 feet from my board anyway - gotta hit that next pedal change .

    I'd been looking at that and trying to justify buying it, I've just switched over to Fishmans and everybody is saying this makes no difference with Actives. Might just try one to prove it for myself.

    I pretty much did on this tour thanks to the Line 6 The spare we were carrying was just about long enough to get me to the other side of the stage for a few crossovers, with the way that the frontman moves about though I suspect he would prefer me to stay on wireless just to reduce any chance of him tripping.
