    I've got a Hamer Standard, three Warmoths, and a Gibson LP already. I'm *not* spending Suhr money, as I believe the knee of diminishing returns is around the 0.5*Suhr list price

    What? No lol, it was modified by fender to take el34s as a prototype for the el34 models. It already has el34s, put there by the people who made it lol. I mean, I probably won't put more el34s in it without taking these ones out first because they would just rattle around all stupid, but no promises.

    Okay coolio, we just had a bunch of people slapping EL34s in the 6L6 models and blowing their shit up online so wanted to give warning about it.

    The 50w is killer (well, at least the 6L6 is; I’ve not played an EL34 version yet). Much better IMO than the Peaveys.

    I disagree (and I'll note that you can get into Suhr territory for less than most Gibsons), but suit yourself.
