I got to crank it up. Sounds great. The G Major 2 wasn't working with my power amp. It's output was either 2 hot or 2 weak. It was clipping the amp. Pulled it from the rack, and stuck a delay pedal in the Collosus's loop. Much better.

Oh snap, this guy makes an E530 preamp in a pedal...

I've got a Warmer, which is one of my favorite TS808 variations. I've also had the beastbox but when I went to a more multi effects type setup I sold it. Both were solid in terms of sound and build quality.

Quick test clip. I used a 906 and I5 split left and right. A little dark sounding.
I'll probably try an SM57 next time.

Well shit, now I kind of want one too. It's freakin tiny!

They are really killer. I just swapped the JJ in V1 to a Chinese 12AX7B. Much better.

They also make a little Engl E530 preamp that kicks ass.

I may have to grab one of these because the Helix 5150 model sucks.

Anyone know how different the E530 is to the 5150 sound? I feel like they're pretty close. It may be redundant of me to get this preamp and load it into a rack right next to an actual E530

BTW, the rig I'm working on is an E530, a Mesa Studio Preamp, and a Mesa 2:90, hopefully the pre's will work with a loop switcher, which I still need to test...
