    Speakers for Engl Savage 120

    Hi,
    Will the Savage 120W work well with a 4X12 with 2 X V30ties and G12T-75 in X-pattern shape?
    Thanks.

    Of course they will.
Stop wasting your time on gear anxiety and GO ROCK OUT instead.

I just recorded 2 albums with a certain guitar I had tuned to certain tuning.
It's one of my least favorite guitars... I don't like the setup and I've been wanting to change the pickups for a long time...
It also needs a proper shield painting because it easily picks up noise from surrounding electronics...
    BUT WHO FUCKING CARES...
It did the job and I didn't have to re-tune any of my favorite guitars just for those albums. All my guitars are either Evertune or Floyd Rose so I cannot easily change tuning like a hardtail anyway

I suggest that you take a similar approach.
Just use the cab you have, don't waste any time changing out speakers and shit.

    USE what you have.
    ROCK OUT.
That's the important thing about music.
    ROCKING OUT.

    Yeah so on topic....

I'm sure it will, unless you have a particular dislike of v30s, I imagine most albums recorded with a savage eg figure number 5 used a v30 cab. Engl cabs come with either v30s or v60s I'm not sure of the difference but their premium cabs are v30s for sure

I had an Engl Savage with exactly this speaker set-up (V30's + T75's in an X-pattern, Marshall 1960A) and it was killer. Do it

I have extensive experience using the Savage with both V30s and T75s. Both sound FUCKING GREAT with the Savage, especially the V30s. Do it! You won't regret it.
    C'mon son.
