I've set up my helix to have both effects and channels + loop switching with a single button and it's allowed me to easily remediate the channel 1/2 differences as well.

How do you like it so far compared to the 6505 mini head?
Well, the 6505 definitely has good high gain tone, but not so much clean tone. I haven't had much time to play it yet, but the 5150 definitely has some really nice clean tones and channel 3 sounds good for heavy rhythm and lead tones. Channel 2 will take some experimenting with but I think there's some good possibilities there too. Overall the 5150 is just on a whole another level than the 6505mh.
Just a speck in the spectrum

Sells a 5150 because of the clean tone

The blue channel sounds wonderful for mid-gain and crunch tones, especially with single coil or pop pickups!

Blue channel with a boost and EQ in the loop is one of the best amp sounds you can get IMHO

Well I've got a boost and eq pedal so I'll have to try that too

Gain around 7, boosted ( clean boost) EQ similar to the pic... these amps are known for the Blue channel.

Like this guy says about 1:30 in, that amp is all about that blue channel for killer tone, and once you boost it and hit that EQ it kills.
