    Party like it's 1994

I bought my first 7 string back in 1994 with UV77MCs were being blown out for $1400 (which seemed like a lot of money at the time).

Back then, if you wanted new strings you had to buy a pack of regular strings and scour the single string bins of the local music store hoping to find as many .052s as you could.

I need to change strings on my only 7, and I have fuckton of Ernie Ball 6 strings sets, so had to buy a few singles and it made me all nostalgic.

I have a zillion .68s if you want them. I used to have like a half dozen seven strings, so naturally I overbought the one string you never break from JS.

    Ken.

What a luxurious world we live in, where not only can you buy seven string sets, but you actually have the option of a few reasonable gauges.

No. I sold that guitar years ago. I am ashamed to admit that my only 7 is this:Party like it's 1994-0802191803-2-jpg

I kinda want to get a decent 7, but I don't get the urge to play one very often.

My only two 7's are both LP-styles, and I play them maybe once a year?
