Mine is 1026. So no tx4 board.

Also, how may TL072s are in the TA?

    A lot.

The only one that's crucial to change imho is ic3 for the dynamic voice /master.

If you use the recording outs maybe those too.

The others you could maybe go for lower noise modern equivalents.

    Maybe the TLE2072

Typical tubescreamer opamps could be used too but there's a lot of variations of varying noise levels.

The biggest noise culprit in mine was the main control board that switches the pot values

I ordered 5x OPA2604 from China. They (and Corona virus) should be here the middle of the month.

Good luck! I had to order some VTL5C9's from china as nobody other than xvive produces them now due to them being non rosh compliant with all the cadmium in them.

    Corona virus free thankfully!

Just put them in the microwave for about 3 minutes after they arrive. That should kill the virus.

    Then order more. Repeat.

These can be noisy. There's about 8 or I. You can change them for newer tl072 or the opa2604.

There's one that you should definitely change and that's ic3 swap that for a opa2604 this week improve the dynamic voice and stop it clipping at high volume levels.

I recently did a full overhaul on my triaxis changing out the control circuit a few ldrs and a few caps. world of difference.

It could also be a calibration issue as the ldrs tend to drift in value over the years.

I have a calibration guide that covers everything other than the tx4 board if you have that.

Was thinking of making a video guide as there's not many clear instructions.
I’d love a copy of that calibration guide.
