Also keep in mind that if you use IEMs, you can have one preset that doesn't have cabs/power amps going to your "Real" gear, with a sidechain for your monitor mix that does have cabs/sims on. I like that for making scratch recordings - if I'm using my regular amp for the writing piece but want to capture ideas, I can send the ideas into the DAW with the power amps and cab sims in the path.
Yep, got that working, I think. I use a second amp with the power amp sag set to zero, and to keep CPU usage down, I'm using the stereo nature of the effects to route back into them, then split to a Cab going to Out1, and FX Loop to Out2. That way, I get no power amp sim and no cab sim going to the 2:90, and both going to Out1
