If it gets the tone you want, just don't use the other 3.

Exactly why I posted that video. You can't change amp tone (excluding cab choice, which is 75% of tone anyway), but functions can be added by external units or not used.

    Hi,
I’ve seen the video in the link you posted. That’s great.

Anyone tried the Diezel Herbert MK3?

Start with an Engl E530 preamp; it has all the gain you could want, a great independent clean channel, and it even has like a 2w power amp in it that can drive a small cab. Add in a GEQ and noise gate pedal, which you can mount right into a rack (always on, no fuss).

Throw that into any number of power amps on the market, and yo!

I have the Savage and love it. It's my main rhythm tone. Channels 2 and 3 are totally superfluous, but Ch 4 is so goddamn good it makes the dead weight worth carrying around.
    C'mon son.

I assure you. You will get use out of all of them.

I played a new ENGL Powerball 2 and that amp was stupid good. Couldn't believe how great the clean channel was.

Plus this is the ultimate tone I've heard in a while:
