Well, yes, but I was talking about the amp rule:

I'm interested in this, too. I've got a Dark Terror and at 7w that thing is way too loud when there's a sleeping baby in the house.

If the DSL1 holds up to the larger ones as well as the JCM1/etc do, that would be ideal. Everyone on earth seems to love the DSL40C.

I don't have a ton of experience with them personally, but from what I've been able to find, it seems like the cab makes all the difference. The DSL1 combo seems to be pretty boxy, but I think if you could get the head and run if through a 1x12, you'd be fine.

I'd run it through my 2-1x10s, which sound great after I replaced the crappy stock Marshall speakers with Celestions. And, I know Ola can get a great tone from a soiled candy wrapper and 3 magic beans, but I really dig what he gets out of this in the vid I linked.

Love the idea of the JCM, but the DSL sounds awesome and it's less than half the price. For a bedroom amp I play less than an hour a week, I'm more likely to err on the side of cheap. Honestly, I've also been eyeballing that Jet City Josh has for sale, too, but with the store credit it's like not spending free money...
