I kinda miss the days when i would just record shit in my shitty fostex 4 track and all was fine. Now i spend entirely too much time wondering if I should reduce my gain by .1 while being overwhelmed with all of the options in my daw.
This is not a case of being to old or too dumb to use the software. I use a ton of coding and design software daily but man nothing in any of the daws I have tried has really clicked with me.
I really have recently just really started trying to actually record some stuff and its a painstakingly slow process. And i don't even care about video really at this point.
I am still trying to get a workflow that sounds good, is easy to use and will let me just put together some decent sounding demos that I can build upon as skills improve.
