Heh, it's been a while. So why not.
Been wanting to get myself a good Chandler Tube Drive clone for a while now. Was waiting to get a Butler Real Tube but missed out on it when the usual store I get my pedals from stop supplying them. So I checked a few other clones and came across the Buffalo FX TD-X, which seemed to sound the best to my ears. I took it for a test run and realised an hour and a half flew past. This pedal is great. Nails the early Satch tone, which probably why I wanted a Chandler all this time.
Another pedal I noticed Satch was using lately, and I've been on the hunt for a standalone vibe pedal for some time. Drybell is a company I'm not familiar with so I took the plunge. The Vibe Machine v2 has a surprising amount of features: there 6 trimmer pots that allow you to fine tune the settings, though I kept it at default in the meantime. The sound overall is awesome, rich creamery butter. Looking forward to exploring this more especially trying to get some wild out there sounds.
