A few pics of my new music room.

I moved last week and am still unpacking/setting up all my stuff. I haven't had time to cable anything up yet, but I had to get it all laid out. All of this gear in the nook will run into a patch panel, into my attic and then down the wall behind my desk (same room) into my Ensemble. That way everything will be tidy and in its place, and I won't have any cables visible.

Q: Which gear should I buy?
    A: Yes.

Looks tidy. Did you not fancy putting the guitars a little higher and putting a little setup bench in there like Ryan did with his?

Naw, I have a workshop in the basement for that.

The main goal here is that I have a year 3 old and a newborn due any minute now, so when they're both older and curious I can hang the doors back up and keep things away from sippy cups and whatnot.

Good plan. Not that either of my kids ever did anything bad to mine, but it never hurts to be prepared.

Yeah, once my son got up on an amp, pulled off my 40 year old RG and damaged it, I pulled the door handle off the door leading into the room, and use a screw driver to open it damn kids.
