    As someone who currently has an HX Stomp, a PAL and had an FM3, the difference in tones you'll get from the amp models is negligible. They all sound fantastic.

    PAL? like PedalPalFX PAL 800? the JCM emulator pedal?

    Everything I hear from the FM3 sounds to me slightly better. Its a bit like Ola said on one of his videos, there's a certain Throatiness on the Fractal modelling that the Helix cant seem to get not to mention that to me the Helix always sound more fizzy (talking about the VST here). Is it price justifiable that slight advantage? Well most certain not but if you want it then it is.
