Found this Bogner 2x12 on Guitar Center's website used for a decent price on New Years Day when I was exhausted and slightly hung over while sipping coffee. After I bought it, a couple hours later a buddy asked me if I wanted a Bogner 4x12. I guess now I have 3 cabs for all of my basement gigs by myself.
The Bogner 2x12 is fucking huge and heavy. It also looks brand new. After I unboxed it, I was shifting it around and could hear something sliding... I thought maybe someone left their weed stash in it. Nah, some asshat put 3 packs of silica gel packets inside the cabinet, and one ruptured so I had to vacuum it out. Of course, I couldn't pull the back off the cabinet (because it's so fucking tight it's ridiculous), so I went in through the handle.
The 4x12 sounds great too, is slightly beat and has seen some gigs, but I couldn't say no to it. Both cabs are loaded with V30s. So is my Mesa Recto 2x12. Time will tell which ends up sticking around.
