    BBE Sonic Stomp

    Anybody use one of these?
I fucking HATE Sonic Maximizers with a passion but this little box actually works quite nice as a boost in the effects loop. I set it so it's just barely on. It came with a cheap amp I picked up(https://www.metalguitarist.org/forum/...html#post15745) so I figured I'd give it a try.

It's pretty rad. Being that it's footswitchable makes it pretty awesome.

It's not really any different than the 362, as far as I know. And yeah, if you set any Sonic Maximizer to a reasonably low setting in a loop, they do a good job of boosting, and it sounds cool.

Of all the BBE's, I found the pedal didn't have near the effect of the rackmounted models.

That's what I like about it. The rackmount was a bit to overwhelming for me. Plus, it's footswitchable.

Yeah, you just have to keep the settings on the rackmount versions @ 12 o'clock or lower. That's what I do. I keep it in the FX loop of my GSP1101 so I can switch it in & out as needed.
