Is it bad that I want a stocked pedalboard even though I rarely if ever use effects and don't even have an amp?

Sneaky, but not too believable. You should have added a Metal Zone or something to the top so you could tell everyone that's where you were getting your gain sound, if they asked.

yeah, after our set i'd realized that oversight. good thing they did't really
dig too deep into it. no one even gave it a second glance, actually.

Dude the Fractal rig is a great idea!

thanks man!! i had to make a seperate board to mount the pedals
and compensate for the lid depth. once it was all done everything fit
snug. also had to mod the mfc-5 to accept the boss pedals..

Pardon the mess on both of these; I'm in the process of reorganizing/ deciding what I want to keep and what I want to sell, and the cabling will get much neater once that happens and I have time to cut patch cables to size.
