Ok... just to be honest, not all of those are mine. The RoadKing and the SVT are mine. My Cobra and SuperDrive 45 are not pictured. The others belong to the band that was in the studio... but it is a great picture!
I wish I could see all the pics here at work. Most are blocked. I'll have to put up a pic of my stuff.
I've got several pre amps, but to the threads question - amps - I play thru an old late 1989 or 1990 Crate 120W combo 990 Limited Edition. I'm not really using the amp to it's potential. Most of my tone is coming from my Digitech GNX4.
You know, I've never understood why people are so ingrained with the idea that you have to have an amp head, when most of the people I see have some type of floor processor and their amp head is left on its clean channel. The last show I played, the local band after us had 2 Marshall 4x12s and 2 Marshall amp heads. But he got his sounds from an old Boss GT5. His amp head never switched channels. I'm glad he liked the look of a full stack with 2 amp heads... but my rack was less gear to haul :fawk:
my amp is in there. 2x12 valve carvin. sucks. hate it. can't get the sound i want out of it. haven't used it in years.
want a mesa triple but i just can't justify it's cost (considering i'm not in a band and don't play out)
Cheap, simple and fucking awesome :metal: Sounds great at any volume, direct recording sounds identical to what I hear and silent practice with the headphones on. Now I just need a multi FX and foot control to complete.
