Nothing like a Tung Sol sticker!

    Congrats!

I gave it a clean up last night and took the stickers off, besides the backing paper from the Tung Sol one. Some discolouration on the pickguard where the stickers were, but I'm not worried. Oh, I swapped the knobs for some from my spares box, the originals need a good soak in something to clean the grime off before I want to touch them

Great neck on those, nice score.

    So live for today,
    Tomorrow never comes.
    Die young, die young,
Can't you see the writing in the air?
    Die young, gonna die young,
    Someone stopped the fair.

Rubbing alcohol on that paper. A washcloth is abrasive enough to remove the paper wet with alcohol, but won't harm the finish. The alcohol will also remove the adhesive underneath.

It'll take a few passes and a bit of elbow.

All I can ask is that I suck a little less each time I pick up my guitar...

Keep those new knobs on there. They’re just ridiculous enough to work

General consensus from the guitarists at my work is I've done very nicely indeed. I've also slipped and started spending on it. I've bagged some solid metal saddles for £3 (I hate the pressed metal ones) and a brand new white pearl pickguard for £12. Total invested now £40

In the same boat, brother. I ordered replacement tuners for that acoustic.
