Someone posted it on SSO. Seems legit though, since I got a NAMM email from Epiphone today teasing the Jersey Star.

They kept trying to introduce a bunch of shitty quality modern guitars, but I'm glad they're finally realizing that everyone just wants a bunch of hair metal hayday all maple superstrats.

Kramer has still been around for a long time, they are owned by Gibson, and have been for quite a will. Gibson subsidiary basically.

Unless Gibson sold off the brand name in the post Henry J era and I missed it. Gibson wasn't exactly doing much with them. This is the biggest push they have ever made.

Also, no one in the Nightswan crowd is going to be happy to see a reissue.

Generally speaking, most hardcore fans of 80s models with a cult following like that don't want to see the shit re-issued, especially after they've spent such a long time tracking theirs down. Nightswans have always been a bit over priced and overrated. There are a lot of Kramer guitars from the same era that are as cool or cooler that don't get the same attention. The carve top Stagemasters from the 80s are all cooler than the Nightswans. A lot of the Nightswan mystique is because of scarcity, as it is for a lot of cult models.

Actually, I’m seeing the exact opposite with respect to the Swan. Lots of comments that are pro re-issue. The only negative is the finish choice. People would rather have the Aztec finish or the Buddy Blaze Lightning.
