    Malformed Franken7 project begins

Well, I finally got around to starting this project and a lot of peeps wanted to see the progress so here's what I have so far:

Going to hit the exposed black areas with a dry brush white, then peel the tape off and clear coat it. If it turns out like crap (big possibility) then I'll strip it and try something else.

And, yes, I'm going to take the pups out, just didn't have the ability to break out the soldering iron right then and there, so I taped it to sand on it a little.

Ok, I put the cart before the horse and didn't pull the pups or fill in the bridge hole, but really wanted to see what it would look like when I found I had some white paint with grey undertones...

There's are a lot of people doing "CUstom" Stripped guitars on FB GRoups.

Some are moving away from the "normal" colors and even mimicking the MXR Pedal, I gotta say the Charcoal ones look great

Sorry for spamming all those images, but it might give you some hints and ideas

Yeah they are. There's a guy (Craig Stofko) that makes most of them. He seems rather good doing it too.

You mean having the Swirls as the Stripes colors? As long as you do the Swirl first and then tape the parts you want it to show when you cover everything up.
