    Well, Hamer doesn't really exist anymore . . .

Too much faith leads to religion
Too much knowledge leads to confusion
Too many guitar lessons lead to jazz-fusion

It would be sooooo much better if it was Ibanez, since they made the original knockoffs.

    Tomorrow never comes.

Can't you see the writing in the air?

Or ESP, because it'd probably be about the MX which we can all agree made the world a better place.
    C'mon son.

    and now, licensed shapes.

i get that its a legal thing and their entitled to their shapes(then again they didn't do shit about it for 40 years) but this is just more money grubbing bullshit that the world of guitar doesn't need now or ever. this move screams "Fine Bros. Entertainment."

The moment Gibson has their Explorer trademark invalidated in Dean's lawsuit, I'm adding it to my available ones.

I'm hoping ESP is waiting with stacks of wide EXP blanks for the result of that lawsuit.

"Did we frighten you with our 'You've been put in notice' video and our lawsuit? Just give us some money, and we won't do that to you."
This quote came from a dude on the fractal forum, thought it was pretty good haha.

I feel like this is a ‘sneaky’ way that they’re going to try and establish their ownership back over the shapes. They’ve gone so long without enforcing anything that they’ve lost their legal recourse and are losing lawsuits. So now they’re gonna try and set up licensing deals so that some companies will pay them for the right to use their shapes, then they can turn around and sue other companies again but with the added ammo that the shapes are licensed blah blah blah.

They tried to play heavy handed, got called on their bluff, now they’re trying to come back around and be the nice—albeit sleazy—guy that just wants to make a deal.
