New (Used) BC Rich Warlock NJ Series (Pic Included)

Purchased an older used BC Rich Warlock NJ Series guitar today. Just think it looks cool. Snow white body, Widow head stock and a Floyd Rose Special.

    1. What is the best hard case for this guitar? From the research I've done it appears the coffin is a favorite, but it came with one and didn't fit too snug.

    2. If I want to trade the FR Special out with a FR 1000 or Floyd Rose, will any cutting on the body have to be done?

    3. Can I have active pick ups installed without cutting on the body being done?

    A FR1000, OFR, or a Schaller should be a drop-in replacement.

As for the pickups, you should be fine. I have seen some pickup routes that are rounded out to fit only covered pickups, but it's not often.

I think you'll be fine with the pickups. I've got an older Warlock Deluxe and it fit with no mods to the body. As for cases, I'm partial to Coffin cases, but, I'm going to try and modify a weather proof gun case for a couple of mine.

An NJ Series Warlock was my first guitar ever, the case was fucking HUGE....kind of a weird triangle shape. I dropped that thing on my foot in 7th grade and tore 7 ligaments in my foot. That sucked.

Thanks for the replies. All very helpful. I'll pick up some steel toe boots while I'm at it.
