Nah you're deff not alone here. The only person to look "cool" with a Dean was Dimebag. Even their Mustaine Vs look awful IMO.

I like the way the Dean Vs look, but that's about it.

Mustaine looked way cooler playing both his Jacksons and his ESPs. Though the ESP Axxion is a crime against humanity.

    C'mon son.

Kerry King gets unfairly shit on as "the most obnoxious member of Slayer". Or "one of the guys in metal who is the most preoccupied with seeming tough and 'metal' ".

Kerry King made guest appearances on two awesome Beastie Boys tracks.

Jeff Hanneman was an actual Nazi.

The fact that somehow the general consensus on that is the "Jeff Hanneman was the cooler of the two" is mindblowing.

The idea that everything bad that ever happened to Slayer is Kerry King's fault is ridiculous. Tom Araya is a fucking idiot and Jeff Hanneman was "someone who was just very passionate about World War II history and decorating his home and guitar with Nazi emblems but definitely not a Nazi".

Kerry King may be a massive douche these days, but he's not even the biggest douche in Slayer. He's not even the second biggest douche in Slayer.

While you raise an excellent point (I think it probably helps Hanneman that he was bit by a brown recluse, nearly died, and then actually died of something not long after that, right at abotu the time I was starting to hear more about his "interest in WWII history," and it's tough to be too hard on a guy who's, well, dead), didn't Kerry King also have some white supremacist tendencies, as well?

Don't sleep on Tom Araya's rant against kids who want health insurance.
