    NGD: ???

New guitar incoming in one week. I'm going to follow Chris' lead and see who can guess what it is. The first person to post a correct guess wins the super amazing prize*

*super amazing prize is being acknowledged as the one who guessed correctly. And may or may not contain an MG.org sticker, tee shirt or screen shot of Dave Mustaine's power conditioner to be named later.

    EDIT: Here's the specifics/pix:

The guy I bought it off of had the EMG Metalworks 57/66 set replaced with a Seymour Duncan Custom 7 set, including 500k pots. While I didn't immediately love the Customs, I ran them thru presets I'd made for my Jacksons w/Imperiums and Nazguls, so I'll spend some time today customizing some tone presets for these to see if they stay or go. A few of y'all have recommended I get Customs in the past (Chris and someone else, I think??), so I'm eager to really dive in with them today.

So far, I'm in love. First neck thru 7 I've ever owned and while the slightly shorter scale (it's 25.5" vs the Jackson 26.5") throws me a tiny bit at first, and the headstock heel & my thumb didn't get along right away, it plays like a dream.

I don't like this new way of doing NGD threads. I blame Chris... first Djent, now this.

Close. I actually looked for one, only found one that I didn't like, then moved on...

And all this time I had no idea Chris was to blame for Djent...

I did almost buy a Schecter KM7, but the yellowing in the finish just turned me off.

My buddy who owns it did manage to get a lot of the yellowing out with sun bleaching and steel wooling, but it still has a slight yellow tint. But, if UPS destroys what I did buy, I may circle back to that one cause it's a serious weapon.

Nope. Hint #1 it’s not an Ibanez but is the first non-Ibanez brand I bought ever when I got my first one (since sold it) right when I joined these here forums.
