That lemon neon finish is just ridiculously awesome.

That explorer shape makes me rethink not buying more guitars I'll barely play

It's simple and balanced. So many explorer types are either lopsided, notched to hell, or they just have too much going on.

Shame the Vadim Von models are gone since he signed with Ibanez this week, those we're tasty

Gotta agree with Ola there. 3x4 and 4x3 headstocks have always looked really really wrong to me. 3x3 (for 6s) and 4x4 (for 8s) look fine, but 3x4 just looks unbalanced. 7s look best with inline headstocks, whether standard or reversed.

More on topic, those new Solars all look great.

I got used to looking at them on 5 string basses first, so they don't really bug me.

I like the 3x4's simply because my fumble fingers don't like the way 7 string tuners are all jammed together on in-line headstocks. Some of the headstocks look cool to me, some not so much. Which I can say about inline headstocks, too. Love the one's LEF Customs makes:

and Ola's are sweet also. Jackson, Ibanez & LTD as well.
