    Truth. The only seven string I really would go for these days would be a properly branded ESP Eclipse-7. I have a JP7 that's awesome, but I rarely play it. I'd rather play a detuned 6 for low tunings these days.

    The bummer is the 7-string model is 25.5" instead of 24.75". I know that puts me in the minority, but a short scale seven sounds absolutely immense.
