This is always a concern. It means manufacture/assembly/craftsmanship is heavily scrimped on.
Only HB i had in my hands was a super cheap Strat copy, not worse than a mid range Squier but less than half price of it so i dont know... I mean im almost certain these are made on the same factories that do Chapmans and a lot of other brands (I think Solar is made on some other factory that does not make the Chapmans).

Diference is Thomann can order 5000 of these instead of just 1000 so they buy in volumes and get much better deals. Also they dont even need to make a good buck on them, they serve as a way to get people to also buy extras from their Store. Kinda like Cafes selling cigarettes in Europe. Margins are 1-2%on a pack but you buy a pack but also have a coffee most of the times, have a beer etc.

I'm not trying to go full Rocka here, but is it just me or is that bridge pickup unintentionally crooked?

Intonation and shadow make it really difficult to tell. Probably not though.

The streets are extended gutters and the gutters are full of blood and when the drains finally scab over, all the vermin will drown. The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout "Save us!"... and I'll look down and whisper "No.” ― Alan Moore
