I normally don't name my guitars but I thought about naming this one.

Either way. I am very thankful to finally have one of these.
It's the only 8 String I could play and not have problems with. Ibanez RG2228 (Made In Japan).
My parents gave it to me as a gift for Christmas. Thanks Mom & Dad.

Can't wait to actually write some proper songs with this. No straight chugging or thumping is allowed.
I'm going to attempt to write something unique but who truly knows.

I've got some other gear to share but who knows when I actually will get it up. God Bless you guys and have a great day!

EDIT: Side note, Tony Macalpine signed the back of the headstock the other month when society was normal, we hung out at "Cookout" and Emil Werstler was there as well (he gave me a lecture on the music industry), we all had a tremendous time!

Congrats, love it. Been giving the prestige RG8s some lusty looks myself. Looking forward to what you come up with on that instrument.

Master Chief is a military (Navy) rate, so I'd go with the other one.

That's a sick fiddle man! Congrats! I'd say Doom Slayer would be a fitting name for that beast. If I ever get an 8-string its going to be made from ash and go with a Dark Souls III theme and call it the Unkindled Ash

To be called 'The Doom Slayer', it would have to be orange. You should call it the BBC.

Anyway, congrats. Bet it shreds- bottom string only on clean channel please

Cheers man! Really appreciate it. I've never found anything that beats this guitar from a build quality. Ibanez got it right the first time with Thordendal helping out.

That would be tremendous! Ibanez makes an Ash Body 8 Prestige now. I'd love to hear that thing. Ash is a perfect wood.

There's some truth to that. Maybe I should buy another and paint it Orange. That is my favorite color.

It still took too long! It's been over a year-and-a-half. Lord willing, may I never return to it. Hahaha.
