    Its funny you say that, as its prob more based on something I am doing, rather than the pickup. Either its technique and/or guitar setup. I am leaning more towards guitar setup and picking too hard

    That mid-spike is annoying af.

    I tried with the JB, but when I play it back to back with the Timbre Wolf the difference is striking.

    That night ended with Chris throwing a cupful of colored straws at the... other bartender? Bouncer? ...and us being politely asked to leave.     As far as my - and I suspect Chris's - memory serves, whether or not you even HAD tone that night is subject to a certain amount of conjecture and deduction.
