It's actually really easy, just two tiny holes. Here is my install thread:

Build a Warmoth, recessed or non resessed with the 59LP neck profile. Build what you want. Sounds like a perfect fit.

I'd go with Schecter. As a lefty, pretty much every guitar I've played is a Schecter. They've mostly got nice, chunky necks. Can't go to something like an Ibanez now.

Seconding Schecter. If you find an older one (pre-2007), you'll also probably find one with an OFR.

How is the Jackson PC3 neck compared to the PC1? I guess that would be cheaper than the MIA-versions

Similar, but not the same. Thinner, IMO.

While I was out running a few errands yesterday, I snuck into my local shop to check out some stuff. The Charvels are still a little too thin for me. I did find the typical Mexican strat neck to feel a little better. I ended up finding a Floyd Rose equipped MIM Strat online for a decent price, so it is on the way. Bonus - it's top mounted, which I prefer over recessed for my picking. Worst case scenario, a Warmoth 59 neck ends up being purchased and attached to the body.
