They got right back to me at like 9:30 on a Friday night when I emailed them asking about fitment. They're awesome, I got my UV tuners there too.

I should really check out the rest of their offerings

Though, I do recall getting some non-custom-funny-business-stuff from them years ago

Now there's a memento mori for you, a 7 string from 2001 is considered a Grandpa instrument.

Congrats man! The locking tuners on an acoustic is an idea I'd never would have thought of, will have to try out myself.

Awesome, man. Just awesome. I've wanted one of these for a long time too, though not quite as long as you. Maybe since 2003 or 2004? (which was actually before I got my first seven in 2005, though I played my first seven-string in 2001 or 2002 and played in a band with a guy with a seven-string in 2004.)

Totally. Back when I was selling all my gear, I would clean the fretboard, change the strings, get it in tune, clean the guitar up, and THEN take the pics for the listings (since you want the people to see the guitar/bass in its latest shape and also as clean and good-looking as possible). But even for the conmen who used old pics (which is just deceptive), you should still change the strings before sending the guitar out.

Congrats! I had pretty much forgotten about those.

It's not the age of the instrument, it's the type of instrument. An acoustic guitar is a grandpa's guitars.

Jesus, that fretboard was drier than the Sahara desert. Nice score, now get to chicken pickin'!
