    NGD - 1998/99 J - custom RG1880

Sold my Suhr and replaced it with this, got it from a vintage restoration place in Seattle and they have done some job on the setup, action is unreal.

Not had dimarzio pickups in the past but I think I'm liking this albeit pedestrian set of tonezone, true velvet and air Norton. TV and AN ar particularly good, TZ the jury is still out on a bit but it is VERY crunchy but a bit nasal with it.

Neck, fretwork etc are all in great condition. Some surface scratches on the back but very minor and I think I'm going to see if they are fixable or at least the clear coat stuff.

Finally, and most importantly, no hideous tree of life inlay.

    Enjoy the pics

Vine inlays are awesome. The Great Hierarchy of Inlays is:

    - None
    - Shark Fins
    - Pyramids
    - Vine
    - Offset Dots
    - Everything Else

Yeah I cannot get into ToL. There is nothing br00tal about some grapevine up the fretboard.

Guitar is great, got 9s on which im not used to and feel like I'm going to snap every time I touch them but actually think I might get used to them.
