House of Kolor Kandy Tangerine is the color. You will find variances in the shade if you google it, b/c w/ a Kandy how dark it gets all depends on how many coats you put on over the silver basecoat. You will have a hard time matching it dead on without knowing A) What silver they used as a base coat (some silvers are lighter than others, have courser mettalics than others, etc) and B) How many coats of the Kandy color they applied. Whoever paints the guitar needs to do a spray out card to match the color as close as possible....1 card with 2 coats of Kandy, 1 card with 3 coats of Kandy, 1 card with 4 coats, etc til you find the one that looks the best. But its still going to be slightly off (the sparkle of it) without knowing what silver was used, so you just need to decide if you want a smooth Kandy Tangerine (and go with a smooth silver base coat) or a little more sparkle to it (and go with a courser silver)

    Hope that helps

Here is a JEM I just did in Kandy Tangerine if you would like to see. It appears darker than the strat b/c I don't have the best lighting & b/c I put on quite a few coats....4 I think...but on coat #2 it was lighter like the Strat. Lighting plays a BIG part on how a kandy looks in pictures. While it may look one way indoors, it may be in your face loud & bright if you take it outside (b/c the more light that hits the silver basecoat the lighter it makes the Tangerine appear. Thats what a Kandy is....a transparent color over a metallic base coat.

Same guitar, different lighting. Look how much lighter it looks here (This was also before it was buffed, so no hating on the texture in the clear! lol)

Yeah, dude saw the black pearl on mine, and wanted one like it. Pickups got swapped, he wanted a bit tighter bridge pickup, and a fatter/hotter neck tone, so in went a set of Breeds (and a Schaller megaswitch model P).

The guitar fucking screams. If I didn't already have a bunch of guitars with Breeds I'd be tempted to do the same thing to mine.

I am also looking for a Kandy Tangerine color as i got a Charvel So-Cal body advertised as Kandy and when i got the package "Surprise" it was a Pagan Gold, i emailed House of Kolor asking if hits Kandy tangerine and pagan gold its the same as Charvels Kandy ( as they have the same names ) and i was surprised with the answer they said quote:"We have no idea which colors are used on guitars" end of quote and now i dont know where to start does anybody has seen side by side a Charvel Kandy Tangerine and a House of Kolor Kandy tangerine ?
