    That strat looks a little lighter than the Charvels, it's more of a red-ish hue on my friends So-Cal:

    thats what i thought, but a side by side comparison in real life shows theyre the same

    the black and dark stuff makes it seem darker

    Possibly a stupid question, but are you 100% sure those are stock Fenders, and not Fender necks with Warmoth bodies?

    yep, positive. theres a used one at a local shop, which could theoretically be a warmoth body like you said, but our store apparently had a new one before i worked there, which new from fender probably aint warmoth. TPDRI has mention of them being rare
