    Charvel would never do a Les Paul type guitar. This makes no sense. If Fender wants to compete with Gibson and Epiphone, they should use their Guild and/or Gretsch brands, rather than bastardizing Charvel like this.

    I think they are kinda cool but definitely bastardizing the brand.

    That fret access looks very dodgy to me; almost as if the fretboard sits too far into the body.

    Then maybe Hamer? Fender owns Kaman now, and Hamer would be a better fit for guitars like this.
