    I hadn't either until this one. My bass has a pau ferro fretboard, which I've always liked. It's a lot like maple tonally, but doesn't need a finish, like rosewood. Feels even better than it looks.

    And it's sexy

    Here's a video of Budda giving it a test run Some nice in-room sounds with both his Mesa rig and my Fishman Aura Spectrum direct to the PA. We did a bunch of jamming too, but I forgot to set up the camera for that.

    To be fair, the strap's set for me, and I'm a little taller I think, so it doesn't ride so low on me. But really, a Tele just feels right a little lower.
