I don't even like low output neck pickups,.

In before you change your mind next month and go back to either the Distortion or XL500.

Oh for sure, but for now I'm pretending I like this thing, so shuttup and go with it. (Also, I've never liked high output neck pickups, they always get way too bassy with no character or chime)

Wow. Was that a slang translater or did you actually do that by hand?

Translator, I'm not sure I'd put quite that much effort into it. Although i did do one by hand recently after 7DT got offered Hair Implants by Facebook advertising, and somehow Dino Cazares came into the mix.

The two pickups that made my ears prick up and pay attention were an air norton in the neck position(Jackson DK2) and a '61 zebra in the bridge position(Gibson LPJ). These go into a OD808 and a 6505+ or something equally gainy and a 1960 cab type setup.

Air norton was super smooth... I'm shopping for another one of these, love it! Sounds equally cool in parallel mode.
'61 zebra is nice and grainy and huge sounding. They sound very articulate and chug along nicely!
Yup, love the air norton in the neck.
