I just installed a Suhr ML Standard bridge singlecoil, completing the set in my Strat

    Holy fucking hell.

I mean, I knew the neck and middle were good, but...

    1) Now they're through proper 250k volume and tone pots, darkening and smoothing them a hair, and
    2) now they have an awesome, awesome, awesome bridge singlecoil to compliment them.

Thick, powerful, and clear - it's pretty much everything I've ever wanted in a Strat. Kind of in the new gear euphoria phase right now so we'll see how they hold up, but goddamn. I like these. I'm about to grab a beer with two friends up the street, but after that I'll be getting my blues on for the rest of the night.

Maybe not this weekend, but some point soon. They still rule, btw. Still getting acclimated, but I like them.

Lots of great blues music has been written by drunk people filled with regret.
