    Cheap invader clone pickups

Hi all first post. Was wanting some help with wiring for a cheap set of invader looking pups to go in a cheap guitar. They have a red and white wire that come soldered together a single black wire and a thicker black wire. Any ideas??? I'm guessing the two soldered together are the hot wires.

You'd need a multimeter to figure out the exact pinout. Sounds like the red/white are the coil tap wires and the two black ones the hot and ground but as to why they'd use the same colour for two connections is beyond me.

    Pictures may help.

Thx for the reply ill have to do that. I also thought that the ones soldered together could be joining the coils for full humbucker mode.
