These finally came in! I talked to Adam about what I want for my PRS, and he just happened to have these ceramic modern winds in stock already. I am TOO excited to throw them in!

You guys with the Elysian pickups need to start doing clips and posting to TGP. Those nuts love boutique shit that not a lot of other people have. It's boosts their eCred.

After this thread I saw Elysian explanation video about pickups and wonder where the direct clips mentioned are? Have looked at every corner on the homepage

They were on my website, but got lost when I switched the hosting. They were linked on my Kickstarter, but that was over 2 years ago. I do still have them on my Dropbox, keep in mind that the 4 configurations are all the same pickup, just with the bobbins switched around in different orientations.
This was also very much a prototype pickup, wound with 42AWG wire, so not really like what I build nowadays, but a good start. These DI clips weren't done by me.
edit: Here's one I did record, I believe this was done with the set in my Ibanez Roadstar II.
These were on his modern wind pickups, Alnico V slugs on the inner coil, with ceramic bar magnets underneath. This model is specifically called the Obsidian model, named by Kenny Gerbick of Arsonwave after he got his set. They're similar to the model the OP got, only difference being the lack of Alnico V slugs.
I'd like to see more people reviewing those on Youtube as well, so far I've found no one playing power chords, pinch harmonics and chug chug with them. :wavey:
In all honestly they sound good already but it takes half a dozen clips before I usually can make up my mind on a pickup.
I got roped into grading EFMB, but when I get back next month I'll start posting clips! Power chords, pinch harmonics and chug chug included.
