    Relic/Aged locking tuners.

    Hear me out here...

This is only slightly pretentious... One of the machineheads on my Silverburst keeps shitting the bed, since this is my main gigging guitar and it's almost 40 years old I should probably switch out the tuners for something more modern. Problem is, I'm a stickler for aesthetics and this guitar is nearly 40 years old so sticking brand new shiny tuners in this guitar is going to look weird.

So, basically does anyone out there make relic or aged machineheads in this kind of style, or am I going to have to take some acid to some tuners?

Words I didn't say hurt my feelers... but this is my safe space.

You can get Schaller M6s in "satin chrome" or "satin pearl", which looks fairly similar to that. I think the M6 mini 180 would be the one that matches that screw location - you can get locking versions of those that are either front or back locking.

Otherwise, at least afaik, you're probably going to be stuck with standard Rotomatic tuners, or finding someone who will relic a set of locking ones.

Good shout that, from the looks of it they are old Schallers anyway so the M6 should be a perfect replacement.
