Need a new neck. Would this work?

    Backstory:

My 89 Kramer focus 6000's frets are REALLY worn. The neck is ok but it needs a re-fret if im going to play it any longer. However, a re-fret is probably like $300 or so? The guitar is a bit beat up and do not want to invest a ton of cash in it but I would at least like it playable. I check ebay every once and a while to see if any used necks hit the market. I came across this one. The price is nice but I noticed something about the holes. It looks like they were dowled and re-drilled. Is this a huge red flag? Should I avoid this?

    Thanks

Yeah thats been plugged and drilled before but it can be done again I would think. Just use the right plug wood and wood glue. Now how well the neck will fit without some gaps ot need for fitting is another story. I have seen them have gaps and others be tight on same year same models, you just work with it, its part of the Kramer magic.

Also consider swapping over to threaded inserts, the hole is bigger anyway so no need for new plugs glued in .
